Mrs. Bowie
Mrs. Nellie Bowie, wife of Colonel Washington Bowie, died at her residence, on East Lanvale street, Baltimore, last evening, after a prolonged and painful illness. Mrs. Bowie was Miss Schley, daughter of the late Colonel George Schley, a prominent lawyer of Hagerstown, Md. She was a general favorite, was well known in social circles, and was related here. She leaves a husband and five children. The remains will be taken to Hagerstown, where the funeral will take place on Monday afternoon at one o’clock.
